Our whole life, we keep hearing that a lady isn’t a whole unless she gets married and settles down with children. And then, when it comes to representing “the” woman in beauty pageants, she has to be young, never been married, and never had children. The hypocrisy is incredible. A woman can be older AND still be rockin’ it! A woman can be married AND still be successful. A woman can have children AND still be a role model for her gender on this planet. You can take your husband’s last name, and still identify as a feminist. You don’t have to never shave and hate men to identify as a feminist as shown by the the mainstream social media. Honestly, I wonder who comes up with these ridiculous criteria for what a so-called “real” woman should be. Just work hard, don’t hurt others, have good intentions, and mind your own business.
